Brad Cooney
Brad was born and raised in New York, and currently resides in Brandon, Mississippi. A veteran of The United States Navy, he served honorably from 1984 to 1988. He released his first book in May, 2005 titled “Let's Talk Boxing.” Cooney also contributes to one of the nations top boxing magazines, “Boxing Digest magazine.” In May of 2005, Brad promoted his first professional boxing match, “The Mississippi Massacre.” Having promoted a professional boxing match, and having written about the sport of boxing for several years now, Brad has learned the ins and outs of the business. In 2007, he judged his first MMA contest in Canton, MS. In November of 2008, Brad and fellow business partner Ed Anderson founded the very successful 8CountNews.com! Widely respected throughout the boxing world, Cooney looks to take his new project (8CountNews) right to the top.
