8CN Q&A With Evander Holyfield

4 Time heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield sat down with 8CountNews for a few minutes this morning and shared his thoughts on Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, and the current heavyweight division. Check it out.

BC – Thanks for joining me this morning champ. Anything new going on for you in boxing?

EH – Nah not really, not right now there's not.

BC – What are your thoughts on the upcoming Manny Pacquiao Vs. Chris Algieri fight?

EH – Well I haven't seen a lot of Algieri yet so it's kind of hard to comment on his style of fighting. Pacquiao fights the same way, very aggressive. How it ends up will depend on what kind of experience this guy has.

BC – Do you think Floyd Mayweather will ever fight Pacquiao?

EH – It's possible it could happen. It's all about the money. I'm sure the money is out there. Both guys just need to continue to win, and let's see what happens.

BC – Who do you think would win?

EH – I think Floyd is the most talented fighter out there, and Manny Pacquiao is one of those guys that you just can't count out. That's why

it's going to be a good fight. That's why people would pay to buy it.

BC – What about today's heavyweight division? Anyone out there get you excited in the heavyweight division?

EH - Deontay Wilder. People are looking for a big puncher. I think it's kind of sad that nobody will fight him right off. He's got the credentials and he's a big puncher.

BC – How do you think Wilder would have done in your era?

EH – He's a fast puncher and if he catches anyone not warmed up he can get them out of there quick.

BC – How do you think he matches up against Klitschko?

EH – I think he would do well. I think what they did for his amateur career, a faster pace style would benefit him. He has all the physical attributes that he would need.

BC – I know you're busy so I appreciate this quick Q&A champ.

EH – No problem.
