TITLE- King Mo isn’t what the doctor ordered AND The Peoples Champ Takes Out a Psycho

The Main event did not disappoint the sold out crowd Saturday Night at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California. ?Tito The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” (18-11-1) punished the American ?Psycho’ Stephan Bonnar (15-9) for trash talking his family. Bad blood between the two boiled over during a Press junket on September 5, 2014.

Early in the 1st Round Tito stalks Bonnar, gets the hard pounding single leg take down, although Bonnar rises quickly. By round two, a tired and sluggish Bonnar seemed to forget his height advantage and throw haymakers in hopes of catching Ortiz with a clean shot. After a back and forth showcase, ?The Peoples Champ’ would see his best round in the third. Tito stayed on the offense delivering short effective punches. In turn hands The ?Psycho’ bloody busted gashes under both eyes. The fight would go the distance with Ortiz gaining the Split Decision win. 30-27(Ortiz), 29-28 (Bonnar), 30-27 (Ortiz)

After fight antics would continue with Tito flipping ?F Bombs’ at Bonnar, and Bonner returning the favor, offering Ortiz a invite to a BBQ, where he would serve the victor turd burgers.  Now that’s how you show sportsmanship!

In the most anticipated rematch of the year “Ill “Will Brooks (15-1) becomes the lightweight world title champion after a right shot leaves Michael “Iron” Chandler (14-3) disoriented.  The first three rounds were controlled and paced with no clear winners. Chandlers tries for two single leg takedowns, but is unable to deliver. While Brooks built his leverage, Chandler couldn’t harness Brooks power but that would all change late in the third when Chandler kneed Brooks in the groin. Round Four ends on a confusing note as Chandler forgets where he is, waves the fight off, yet opposes referee Jason Herzog stoppage decision. “Ill Will” gets the TKO proving he belongs in the cage with this second defeat of the ?Iron Man’. Time was 3:48

Middleweights A.J. Matthews (6-3) chin checked rival Kyle Bolt (8-3) half way through the first round.  Matthews finished things off, with a hit that sent his opponent to the floor, but for good measure threw in a lasting punch that left Bolt dazed and confused. Time was 1:39

In his Bellator debut Joe “Stitch Em Up” Schlilling (2-3) sends fellow combatant Melvin “ No Mercy” Manhoef (29-12-1) sailing back to the Netherlands, with a right- left combo 32 seconds into the second round. Manhoef ?s ground and pound power dominated the first round but things turned quickly, giving the former world-class kick boxer the edge he was seeking.

Mike “The Marine” Richman (18-5) cements his ?Future Legend’ status by annihilating unprepared challenger Nam Phan (20-14). Richman wields his lightning strike fury ending the fight 46 seconds into the first Round. The Marine gets the KO win.

?The “Doc” needs to be seen after King Mo Lawal  (14-4)  puts an unanswered beating on Joe “The Doctor” Vedepo (17-9).  King Mo left the doctors office never needing another appointment after unleashing a slew of hammer fist and striking force, against his un-guarded opponent. A battered and bruised Vedepo would eat strikes throughout round one, and continue being victimized until ref Jason Herzog put a stop the bout .39 seconds into round 3. King Mo wins
