They will welcome aspiring fighters, novices, those desperate to make 2015 the year they get fit for the rest of their lives and those on the lookout for a new challenge.

Wayne McCullough said: "I'm excited to be taking what I've learned in the ring under the guidance of the legendary Eddie Futch to anyone wanting to get in shape using boxing skills and techniques. The classes and personal training sessions I'll be offering are open to anyone who wants to make a lifestyle change, lose weight or even learn techniques to transfer to the ring. My daughter, Wynona, will be joining me on Saturday at the official opening to sing the Star Spangled Banner and anyone keen to see what's on offer is more than welcome to come along."

The brains behind the new venture are father and son entrepreneurs Armin and Bowe Van Dam.

Saturday's official opening will give those interested in joining up a taster session of what they can expect from this 48,000 sq ft facility which includes group exercise studios, CrossFit, an indoor lap pool, and massage therapy. There will be a chance to win memberships, t-shirts etc.

Also expected to be in attendance is current WBC light welterweight champion Jessie Vargas, three division World Champion Mike McCallum and up and coming welterweight boxer Stephane Malenou.
