Pacquiao Vs Mayweather Tickets The Highest In History

The Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2 is the most anticipated boxing match since Ali vs Frazier over 40 years ago. This event will  undoubtably smash all pay -per -view records and with an expected PPV price of $90-$100 will be the most expensive. But thats nothing compare to what actual paper tickets will be.

Although tickets (and prices) have not been released you can consider yourself very lucky to score one that is if you can afford it.

Official ticket prices are expected to start at $1,000 for nose bleeds and the few ringside seats are reported to start at $5,000. In reality nobody will actually pay these prices. Websites are already listing tickets for over $60,000 for ringside seats. While most of these obscure sites are already to trying to scam the general public into thinking they get the seats, the price is not a far cry from reality.  Most of the tickets will already be spoken for by the principle companies involved in the event.

The fight will also draw the largest press section of any boxing match in history.
Many world wide news outlets will be shut out for this one as well.

Top Rank's Bob Arum suggests that "nobody is going to get these tickets without paying for them," and that if you're a high-roller you'll need at least a $250,000 credit line with MGM Grand to be considered for tickets.

There are even betting websites out there taking bets on the actual ticket prices. The prediction for any floor seat outside the first several rows of ringside seats will be sold second hand (unofficially) starting around $10,000.
