Canelo Alvarez Vs. Canelo Alvarez

WBC super welterweight world champion Canelo Alvarez successfully defended his title Vs. a very game but over matched Josesito Lopez.  Canelo had Lopez down in rounds 2 and 3 both by nasty left hooks to the body.  Lopez was down again in round 4 after being hit by a lethal Canelo combination. In round 5 Canelo pounced again and forced Lopez into the corner, and unleashed yet another combination which forced referee Joe Cortez to stop the fight.  Lopez had some good moments, and showed a lot of heart.
