The Drama of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Well, it seems that former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is in full spin control following his recent positive test for marijuana use.

The pugilist has come out and declared that he has never smoked marihuana. Nope, instead he took prescribed cannabis laced drops that he used for insomnia.

Don’t expect many people to buy the story, and the WBC has already stepped up and levied a fine and ordered drug rehab.

To make things even more dramatic, WBC President Jose Sulaiman has come forward with concerns that Chavez has a gambling problem as well. Yes, it’s been a tough past few weeks for the 26 year old Chavez.

Drugs and gambling…all Chavez needs now is a sex scandal to complete the trifecta. Some folks out there are saying that its only Marijuana and rehab is ridiculous, but props to the WBC for taking a stance and trying to right this ship before it veers into the reef, or in this case into the reefer….
