Is Golota done for good after Saleta KO?

Andrew Golota (41-9-1, 33 KO’s) made his first ring appearance since October of 2009 this past Saturday at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland with high hopes of a successful comeback. The 45 year old Golota was shocked however by the 46 year old Przemyslaw Saleta (44-7, 22 KO’s)- who was coming off of his own seven year layoff- by way of a 6th round KO.

After the fight, Saleta announced that he would drift again into retirement while Golota stated that his future was uncertain. Golota was winning the fight on points leading into the 6th round and didn’t look all that horrible. So, is this the end of Golota (again), or did he show enough to merit another go-around? Be sure that Riddick Bowe was watching intently and thinking the same thing…..
