Kenny Florian has one tremendous match coming up against Jose Aldo for a shot at the featherweight title. Kenflo sat down with his local press at the Boston Harold to express the following statements regarding his upcoming match against the lightening fast, Jose Aldo:
“I just remember that he was extremely explosive. He finishes guys very quickly, I just remember being very impressed. I don’t know much about him, but I liked the way that he fought, he was exciting. Anyone who is willing to try flying knees, acrobatic kicks and finish the fight the way he did, I’m always a fan of those kind of fighters and Aldo is that guy. I think he’s going to be one of my toughest fights or the toughest fight of my career.”
Kenny has expressed that he is fully prepared to stand up and bang with Jose Aldo, which may be the biggest match he has faced in his entire streak with the UFC over the six year time period since he came into the franchise at 29 years old. The fight takes place this Fall on October 8th at UFC 136 in Houston, Texas.
