Orlando Cuellar is possibly the best trainer that many people have never heard of. Cuellar trains a small group of fighters that include 2004 fighter of the year Glen Johnson, Cuban Heavyweight sensation Juan Carlos Gomez and rising Light Middleweight and two time Olympian Eromosele Albert. 8 Count News spoke with Orlando at the weigh ins for this weeks edition of Friday Night Fights, where his fighter Eromosele Albert will be fighting in the 10 round Main Event against Germaine Sanders.

AS: Welcome back down, How are you doing Orlando?

OC: Thank you, I am doing good.

AS: You have Eromosele fighting this week on ESPN. You have Glen Johnson fighting next month against Daniel Judah on ESPN and you have Juan Carlos Gomez fighting in Germany against Vitali Klitchko. You have been a busy person lately.

OC: Yea I know but that is the way I like it because you don’t have long breaks and with the situation with the economy and money problems out there, I am lucky to have work. I am just blessed and I thank the lord for the opportunities we have been getting. As long as we keep winning and are able to keep up this pace we will keep doing it.

AS: You are down here this week in Eromosele’s corner. What does he have in store for his future?

OC: We have to take this one fight at a time. We are talking about making the move up and trying to challenge Jermain Taylor. We are willing to go up to 168 to challenge Taylor, if he is up for it. We are looking for the biggest fights with the most exposure we can get. Eromosele is ready to take a plunge into the top 10 and get a title fight hopefully by the end of the year.

AS: You also have the people’s champion, Glen Johnson in your stable who has a tune up next month on ESPN against Daniel Judah. What is in store for Glen for the year?

OC: Well after Glen handles his fight next month with Judah, we are looking to fight the winner of Silvio Branco and Adrian Diaconu for the WBC title somewhere around June or July.

AS: Besides the big three, do you have any other prospects that you are training that we should keep an eye out for?

OC: Well I have a few for a couple prospects who I might be training but nothing is official yet with them. There is a little shuffle going on between them but I am not really taking anyone else on because I am bouncing back and forth between Europe and the U.S. I am just trying to stay focused with Albert, Glen and Juan Carlos Gomez and preparing them for fights ahead and hopefully soon all three will be world champions.

AS: Any last comment for the fans?

OC: I love my fans out there. Thanks for all the positive words. I promise to give you the best fighters in the best shape for the best fights. Thanks for everything. I love you all.
