Las Vegas Police Department confirms that famed Boxing trainer Roger Mayweather was arrested yesterday and is being charged with 2 felonies. The first count for coercion force. The second count for battery with strangulation. According to Mr Barry from the Clark County Detention Center Mayweather was released this morning from jail. Roger has a court date set for August 4th. The alleged victim is professional boxer Melissa St.Vil. Melissa was rushed by ambulance to Mountain View Hospital and was treated for her injuries and later released. This is not good news for the Mayweather camp. Roger has been training his nephew Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his upcoming fight against Marquez scheduled for September 19th. There is no comment so far from the Mayweather camp on this. Why was he trying to make her leave? What was the point of all this? Roger Mayweather has always had a temper, but this could have him in jail a long time. As far as his nephew, it won't have too much effect; seriously. At this stage, both Marquez and Mayweather know what they're doing.
On a good note, it might give him a chance to work with his dad more, who in fact started him boxing. I still think he'll get the decision on Marquez, but it will be a good fight.
When he fights PacMan, it will be a great fight.

A few thoughts on this:
1. She's a professional fighter and probably bigger than crackhead Roger, so I'm not going to get all worked up over the fact that he hit a woman.
2. Does this really surprise anybody?
3. She sure doesn't look very distraught by this traumatic experience...she claims she was moments away from death.
