Roy Jones Jr Returns Home to 8CountNews!

August 23rd, 2009

The legendary Roy Jones Jr makes his return to 8CountNews and discusses his extremely impressive TKO over Jeff Lacy.  Roy talks about a wide array of topics from moving up to heavyweight and going after the heavyweight title again, to a possible boxing match against UFC star Anderson Silva.  Roy also shares his thoughts on the Paulie Malignaggi robbery that took place in Houston on Saturday, and he leaves no stone unturned with his thoughts on Golden Boy Promotions.  Roy also feels that Malignaggi won his fight against Juan Diaz, and blasts the powers that be that awarded Diaz the victory.  Roy also takes several shots at Bernard Hopkins and once again challenges Bernard to a fight with a winner takes all purse.  Roy reminds us that when he last suggested this to Bernard on a radio show last week, Bernard hung up the phone.  Don't miss what else Roy Jones Jr had to say in this EXCLUSIVE 8CountNews Podcast!

*Special thanks to Sarah Fina for assisting with this interview
