Former Jr Welterweight world champion Paulie Malignaggi joins 8CountNews and discusses the highway robbery that took place in Houson, Texas this past Saturday night. The "Magic Man" talks about the fight, the decision, the promoter (Golden Boy) and what his future looks like going forward. Paulie also responds to the support given to him by the legendary Roy Jones Jr. In a recent 8CountNews exclusive with Jones, Roy publicly stated that a rematch should be given to Malignaggi, and that Malignaggi should have been awarded the victory in the first place. This much is clear, we haven't heard the last of him by any stretch. Malignaggi put on one of his best performances Saturday night, but unfortunately the judges at ringside either didn't think so, or perhaps thought so, but scored it for Diaz anyway. A 118/110 score for Diaz is probably, if not definitely, the worst score that this writer has ever seen in a professional boxing match. Check out what Paulie had to say regarding the fight, and the aftermath, in this EXCLUSIVE 8CountNews podcast!
