Klitschko too much for Arreola

September 26th, 2009

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko retained his title tonight against a tough Chris Arreola. Vitali was just too big, making it very difficult for Arreola to get inside to do any damage. It was a valiant effort put forth by the Los Angeles native, just not enough. Arreola took a lot of punishment throughout the fight, and after the 10th round, his corner decided he had seen enough. Klitschko looked very impressive, he did not show his 38 years. A very emotional Arreola apologized to his fans for coming up short. More thank likely Arreola gained a lot more fans tonight by putting forth a very tough effort, and showing the world how much passion that he has for the sport.
