Exclusive 8CN Podcast: Rodel Mayol

8CountNews spent a few minutes with Jr flyweight world title challenger Rodel Mayol of The Philippines.  Rodel is coming off of a frustrating fight against current title holder Ivan Calderon.  The fight ended up stopped because of another head clash in a repeat of events from the first time the two men fought.  This is the second time in a row that Mayol has been denied the full chance of grabbing Calderon's title due to head clashes.  Mayol has good reason to be frustrated, and has turned his sights towards current WBC Jr flyweight title holder, Edgar Sosa.  Mayol informs 8CountNews that these negotiations are about 50 percent completed.  The Filipino brawler also gives us his thoughts on Manny Pacquiao's upcoming war against Miguel Cotto.  On a more somber note, Mayol reaches out to his brothers and sisters in The Philippines that have suffered tremendously from the floods that a recent typhoon has left behind.  Don't miss what else one of the best Jr flyweights in the world had to say in this exclusive 8CN Podcast.
