Z "The Dream" Gorres suffers brain injury in the ring

Rising Filipino boxing star Z "The Dream" Gorres, was placed into an induced coma after collapsing after his win over bantamweight Juan Melendez at The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay last night. 

Gorres was dominating the fight until the final 30 seconds of the contest where a quick left cross from Melendez put him on the floor. Gorres was able to beat the count and claim victory.

Immediately after celebrating his victory Gorres found himself dizzy and collapsed in his corner. After being rushed to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas he was operated on to relive swelling on the left side of his brain.
