Pascal defeats Dawson

WBC Light Heavyweight Champion Jean Pascal won an 11th round TD tonight on HBO boxing. Chad Dawson had every opportunity to win the fight, but for some reason chose to stand and look more than stand and punch. Dawson had Pascal hurt a few times in the fight, and each time he let him off of the hook.
Pascal fought a smart fight, he fought in spots, and did enough to win the fight. The fight was stopped early due to a nasty head butt suffered by Dawson in the 11th round. It was a nasty cut and the stoppage was the correct call. Pascal won the fight fair and square being the busier fighter of the two for most of the fight.
The victory for Pascal will probably set up a Canadian super fight between Pascal and Bute in Montreal later this year.
