Heavyweight contender Tomasz Adamek and Michael Grant put on a thrilling heavyweight war tonight from the Prudential Center in New Jersey. The first 5 rounds were clearly Adamek rounds, but rounds7 through round 9 Grant closed the gap. Adamek was stunned in round 12 and smartly wrapped up as to not get hurt any further. Both men were bleeding, Adamek from both eyes, and Grant from the mouth. It was a great heavyweight brawl, one that boxing needs more of. This victory will position Adamek closer to a world title bid against David Haye, or one of the Klitschko brothers in the near future.
