LoL pretty much all the boxing articles i've read on this fight people keep saying the same old thing Manny is to fast Manny is to fast... People make it seem as if Cotto is not going to land not one single punch in this fight as if Manny is invicible or something... Manny by Ko in Rd 1 YOU CRAZY!!! so that means that Manny most hit way harder than Marg, Clotey, Moseley, etc. huh these guys i've just mentioned are legit welter weigh they came in at their max weight still the only one that was able to stop Cotto after 11 Rds of pounding was Marg. Do you honestly believe Manny could hit harder than these guys which at fight night probably were at about 160 to 170...PLEASE!!! people act like if Cotto cant take a punch.... let me put it this way why did Manny's camp wanted this fight at 142-143 and had to settle for 145 WHY!!! if Manny is so bad ass why didnt they allowed Cotto to come in at 147 like they did with Oscar... for some reason with Oscar it was coo for him to come in at 147 but with Cotto oooohhh no he cant come in at 147 it has to be lower than that I WONDER WHY IS THAT!!!! can some one here explain that...lets see how much you guys know about boxing.

So that Pacquiao's momentum continues, his okel-okels should be wrappped with Plaster of Paris and not his knuckles like what Margacheato did.

'Pacquiao has a tendency to drop his hands when he comes in with his combinations'
- what? dropping down hands when he comes in with his combination? is that a head-neck combination?

anyway, this is the moment of boxing and i like both fighters.
this fight will be remembered 100 years later for manny's greatness!

Pac Cotto is a great even match up! Anyone can win! Both are highly motivated, smart and intelligent, can box and punch and most of all well trained. Their reach is even and being both ring gladiators, the fight will be non-stop action from beginnng to end. Can one punch decide the outcome of this fight? This is my question more than anything else. With this question, my eyes and everyone's eyes will surely be glued to the fight in its every minute and second.

This is sports plain and simple, a great entertainment with records to break. I will also be interested to see if the God Pac has been praying for during trainings and in his every fight will break his record of victories one after another. Will He? I guess faith in God adds to the Pac's arsenal, seeing him kneel down in prayer in every fight!!!

Cotto will be very lucky if he survives the first round..

engkelber Is discussing this article

hey guyz, i will tell you this COTTO knockdown in round one 1 punch of cotto 10 punch of pacquiao even he recovered for the KO but his knees shaking in all the round remaining. Left and right punching power and speed of pacquaio this time is really very dangerous and his depense is very impressive.. I know COTTO good solid puncher but still very slow motion...sparring partner of pacquiao now is light middleweight..give me a break!!!!!

Reynaldo H. Bellocillo Is discussing this article

It is not only Pacmans speed that will carry him to victory. Lots people are being awed by the Pacmans speed and seems to overlook what his hands bring to the table. Even Cotto himslf is aware whats going to happen if he exposes that chin. The size of Cotto is not that overwhelming as if he could bully the Pacman whole night. If he doesnt change his style and rushes to impose his will, he might end up being buried in the canvas sooner than what people thinks. Remember, those two hands are like chainsaws and thats what the Pacman brings come fight night, and not only speed. If theres somebody who needs to be fearful, it has to be Cotto. He will be busy the whole evening avoiding the havoc of those two chainsaws.

i give pac mouse 9 rounds to hit the deck. pee li pee nos are crazy to dismiss cotto, who has proven himself as well with quality opposition. their pride in that little sweat shop of an island is blurring their vision. the only good thing that has come out of there is ther women, i take that back, not eve1 and i had my share of your sisters and mothers when i was stationed there, lol they are cheap as hell, they want everything for piffty cent!

Pacquiao recently beat an over rated Hatton and an over trained Delahoya who had no business dehydrating down to 147. Cotto is a fast hard hitting Welterweight that hits back and has a very good chance of an upset. Pacquiao has a tendency to drop his hands when he comes in with his combinations, leaving himself wide open to a superstar opponent that is a master counter puncher. Don't count out the underdog here by any means.

PacMan fans...be afraid..be very afraid...

I want to hear that again from you on Nov. 15. Put your MONEY where your MOUTH is,,,, or shall I say,,,, put your BALLS where your ASS is......hehehehe, peace man.

Ferdie Is discussing this article

First, you can't hit what you can't catch. Second, Manny's punch could be lesser than Cotto's in power however, if Manny lands 5 punches to Cotto's 2, there would be a lot of difference.

Hatton was overrated huh? He was the linear champion at 140 lbs. then, how about Barrerra, he was also the linear featherweight champion when Manny tko'd him in the 11th.

ODLH was bragging before the fight that he felt good, and now he is dehydrated for that fight with Manny?

Cmon, give the pound for pound king credit! And why is it that you said that Cotto has a very good chance of an upset? If you are so sure, why should it be called an upset? Make up your mind!!!

The Philippines against the WORLD......let it be said that the haters of pacman are all haters of the Philippines.....and it can be analyze easily as bigotry to the max...People here cant accept the fact that a bloody skinny asian guy can knock out the best that mexico can give, the best that the british can give and the best of Puerto Rico can give, the best that america can give and the best of the world......Cmon,,,accept it guys.....you just dont like us.......Well I have news for you............WE ARE COMING....TO GIVE YOU ALL HELL.......When pacman fights,,, we all fights.

After Nov 14 what alibi can you make once pacman defeat cotto...... cotto is not the same cotto anymore after the margarito beating.....

adrein Is discussing this article

Holyfield failed to take into account of whether Pacquiao could really handle the power shots thrown by Cotto. Holyfield failed to mention that among Pacquiao's former opponents, Cotto owns a very tight upper body defense and there is no way Pacquiao could break that defense easily because whether we like it or not Pacquiao doesn't possess the same power Margarito and Clottey possess. Without a perfect gameplan from team Pacquiao, Cotto's power will eventually wear down Pacquiao until such time that Pacquiao's punches will no longer hurt Cotto. This coming fight will never come easy for team Pacquiao but to prepare for the worst case scenario Pacquiao's stamina will be the key factor to survive Cotto's raw power. To take Cotto out of the equation is simply insane and this is not to disrespect the predictions made by the great champ Evander Holyfield.

Thats what i like about pacman, he challenge himself with bigger guys. not like other boxer who cherrypicked his opponent

Miguel Is discussing this article

Cotto is a fast hard hitting Welterweight, that is your Cotto's description before the fight same as with Hatton and Dela Hoya before. But after the fight I dont know whats your next monicker of Cotto.

Nice one bro.. keep up the good work. Lol

pinoypunch Is discussing this article

Cotto is a good counter puncher but not a master counter puncher. Pacquaio has already fought the master counter puncher ( JMM ) and he held his own. He is already familiar with that style. Cotto is a more aggressive fighter than a counter puncher especially because he thinks Pacquiao is smaller than him and he will try to impose his will. Cotto has faced a lot of speedy guys like Judah, Malignaggi and Mosley, but he hasn't faced a guy like Pacquiao who is cat quick and very unpredictable. You guys will see my point on Nov. 14. Reports coming in from camp suggest that it wont be surprising that Pacman will KO Cotto with his new improve power.

antonio Is discussing this article

Before the fight of Pac-hoya, most of the people said Hoya will crush Pac because of his size. After the fight comes the subject of dehydration and overtraining. Before the Pac-Hatton fight, ideas comes from Pachaters that Hatton is no Hoya and he will demolish Pacman because of his size and strength. After the fight, many said Hatton is over rated. And now comes Pac_Cotto. Here again comes some predictions from different kinds of experts. To me, lets just wait and see and I hope that whoever loses will accept defeat and not be sour graping. It is a common practice that in winning there will be only 1 or 2 reasons why but in losing, maybe 5-10.
