Kimbo Slice is coming to Boston

World Championship Fighting today announced that Internet Fighting Legend, MMA Superstar, and current competitor on this season of the UFC's Ultimate Fighter Reality show, Kimbo Slice will be in attendance for WCF 8 on September 26, 2009, which is set to be held at the Shriner's Auditorium in Wilmington, MA.
 
Kimbo first jumped onto the scene when a video of one of his underground street fights hit the internet, and almost overnight he had a cult following, and many talked about him as if he were the Boogeyman. The more street fight videos he released, the more famous he became, and it all culminated when he stepped into the cage for the first time to take on Olympic Gold Medalist, and former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion "Merciless" Ray Mercer. Kimbo shocked the crowd with a first round submission. He has since fought 4 more MMA fights, knocked out UFC Legend Tank Abbott, headlined events on CBS and Showtime, and has since moved onto UFC's Ultimate Fighter Reality Show, which premiered 2 nights ago on Spike TV.
